I have always enjoyed Asian flavours. It reminds me of vacations we’ve taken, the restaurants we have visited and the islands I love. This sauce will baste four nice sized tenderloins.
- 3 tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 3 tbsp. light soy sauce
- 4 minced large garlic cloves
- 1 tsp. rice wine vinegar
- 4 tbsp. sesame oil
- Season on top with sea salt to taste AFTER the steak is cooked to your desired perfection
- 4 tsps. toasted sesame seeds for sprinkling on top of your steak
Heat the Grilling Stone on the BBQ; the BBQ thermometer should read at least 475 F. but your stone will be hotter. Blend the first five ingredients together. Now sear Tenderloins till almost ready and begin basting with the sauce. I like to coat these babies really well. Take their temperature. Make them just perfect for you!
