Alternate way to serve our Crispy Juicy Lean Chicken

This flavourful chicken is skinless, but crispy, juicy & light on the waistline! Tons of flavour and color that’s sure to suprise even the pickiest of eaters!

Take 4 whole boneless skinless chicken breasts, (remove the tenders for perhaps a stir fry). (makes four servings )

Slice the chicken breasts in half and pat them dry. Or if you prefer a larger portion as seen on the left, then do a butterly of the chicken breast rather than  cutting it in half.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 4 tsp. Ted ‘s World Famous Bone Dust Seasoning
  • 1 tsp. Barbecue seasoning
  • 2 tsp. granulated garlic
  • ¼ tsp. Chilli pepper
  • 1 cup crushed rice crisps cereal
  • 1 tsp. corn starch
  • 1 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • salt on the chicken at the end to your personal taste

Directions:

Heat your Brazilian Fire and Ice Grilling Stone up to 450F. for BBQ or oven then once the chicken is place on, turn the grill down to low medium heat. For this one so the coating does not get removed upon turning, spritz the stone lightly with some grape seed or rub coconut oil so that the coating will not come off when you turn over the chicken pieces.

Mix the yogurt and the lemon juice together in a shallow bowl for dipping the chicken and set aside. In a zip lock bag mix the balance of the ingredients, except for the salt, you will use that at the end to taste.  Now, dip your chicken breast strips into the yogurt mix and then place into the bag. Press the crumbs in prior to removing and placing on the stone, so that they get nicely coated and the coating really sticks on.   Now place the chicken on the hot stones which remember have been lightly coated with high heat oil.

I'm a lover of grilling, wife to an awesome man, mom, to five amazing children, three human, two non human (puppies), Nan of two extremely sweet grandkids and some cool fish. I had my first business at the age of nine. My first "Official business" at the age of 21 in a Saskatchewan market. The youngest President of the Chamber of Commerce in our community, my love of business grew. I've worked for small business and large conglomerates since moving to Edmonton, yet my favorite is certainly this: introducing people to using soapstone for grilling and chilling. It has such incredible properties including being bacterial resistant, heating and chilling quickly, searing food to enhance their amazing flavors, easy to clean food safe and used by our ancestors, it's almost like reversing time. Our family handcrafts wonderful soapstone grilling and chilling products for everyone to enjoy healthy grilling and chilling.
